You can learn the way to cope with worry. For those of us who get with anxiety attack, we differentiate what it feels like. Our heart pounds. We get butterflies in our stomach. We fear and worry over everything and anything. We have hot and cold sweats. Our throats go dry and we've difficulty swallowing, just to name some.
These anxiety attacks can appear from no where. I have spoken with many people who have said "my life is great; I don't understand why I'm suddenly suffering with worry attacks". This is the character of the beast. There's no chosen format for anxiety attacks. They can take place to people whose lives are going truly well, as well, as those who lives are not going so well.
null It is not like having a cold or some other health problem, where there symptoms are usual and simple to see and diagnose.
Understanding what worry attacks are will assist you to have better control and help you dealing with anxiety. It's usual to worry and feel tense or fearful when under burden or facing a taxing circumstances. Nervousness is the body's natural response to danger, an automatic alarm that goes off when we feel threatened.
From my own understanding off dealing with anxiety attacks, I'm aware of the fact that the more you think about the anxiety the more powerful the indications become. The more powerful the indications, the more powerful the worry attacks become. Then you are in the realms of a viscous circle. This is when it becomes truly hard to over come your anxiety attacks.
It's not till you truly become aware of the fact that your thoughts have shaped your worry, so it stands to reason that if you've manifested the nervousness attack then surely you can UNcreate the worry attacks. This element is really difficult for people to understand. And I know precisely how they think! When I was told this, I rejected it. Why would I want to do this to myself? It didn't make sense.
But at the end of the day no matter how much I tried to ignore that fact, it was accurate, my thoughts where the basis of my anxiety. I experimented with it. The more I focused my energy on the nervousness the stronger my anxiety attack became. So with the help of a therapist, I was able to work on my thoughts and defeat my nervousness.
It would be a lie to say I'm nervousness free, however I am much more able to deal with anxiety, I've more coping strategies. Managing anxiety is now much easier for me.
Another to bear in mind, is that nervousness may be unpleasant, but it is not always a difficult thing. This nervousness can help up be alert, the adrenalin can keep us focused. When anxiety is relentless, when it interferes with relationships and activities-that's when you have crossed the line from normal anxiety into the territory of anxiety disorders.
